About us
Lessons on a Plate Ltd is a small development company, set up to produce fun, educational resources for primary age children. We are currently developing the Snacks range of interactive software, and we have lots of ideas for other great resources to make children's learning more fun. Watch this space!
We test out everything we produce on real children at home and in school. And more importantly, we listen to the feedback and adapt our products, ensuring that the final products really are child-friendly.
Maggie Steel
A languages graduate from Oxford University, worked in the Centre for Modern Languages at the Open University in course development and now a qualified primary teacher.
David Benn
A media designer with over twenty years experience. Started off with crayons, moved onto Letraset, played with Illustrator when it was called 88, and version 1.0 of Photoshop.
After Maggie had children she started looking out for resources to give to her children to help them learn a language early. What she found on the shelves was disappointing so she started dreaming of making her own ....
